Privacy policy

Last updated: 20 October 2026

This policy describes Viral Factory Local Publisher, a privately operated Windows application for the owner's YouTube channels, and these public application information pages.

The operator can be contacted at info@ens.nu. The application is not offered as a public multi-user service.

Google and YouTube data

The owner authorizes access directly with Google. The application requests youtube.readonly and youtube.upload. It does not ask for or store the owner's Google password.

DataPurpose and location
OAuth credentialsAccess and refresh tokens permit authorized API calls. They are stored locally, encrypted for the owner's Windows user using Windows Data Protection.
Channel detailsChannel identifiers and local channel labels associate an approved file with the selected channel. Public channel information is stored in the local account register.
Video files and detailsPrepared videos, titles, descriptions, audience settings and disclosure information remain local until the owner authorizes delivery to YouTube.
Delivery recordsRemote video identifiers, processing status and local delivery records are used to track the result of an authorized upload.

Use and sharing

Channel authorizations and API data are used to provide the channel selection and publishing functions described here. Approved media and required metadata are transmitted to Google/YouTube through their official APIs. The local application does not sell Google user data, use it for advertising, pass it to data brokers, or use it to train AI or machine-learning models.

Access to local application data is limited to the operator and people the operator explicitly authorizes for operation, support, security or legal requirements. This website does not expose local authorization files or the channel dashboard.

Viral Factory Local Publisher's use and transfer of information received from Google APIs will adhere to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements. YouTube also processes information under the Google Privacy Policy.

Retention, revocation and deletion

Credentials are kept locally while a channel connection is in use. The current local application does not automatically erase its files when access is revoked at Google. The operator must remove the saved local connection as well.

The owner can revoke access through Google Account permissions. To request deletion of saved credentials or Google/YouTube data, contact info@ens.nu, identifying the channel without sending a password or token. The operator will remove the requested local credentials and associated API data within seven days of a verified request, including operator-controlled copies. Locally created original media may be retained independently of a channel connection.

Removing local data does not automatically remove a video already uploaded to YouTube. Uploaded videos must be managed on YouTube by an authorized channel owner. Retention of cached API data must follow the applicable YouTube API Services policies; the operator is responsible for refreshing or removing records when required.

Website visits and contact

These informational pages contain no analytics scripts, advertising trackers, embedded videos or registration forms, and set no application cookies. Cloudflare hosts these informational pages and may process ordinary connection and access-log information, such as IP address and request time, to deliver and secure the website. Its handling of that information and any hosting-security technologies is described in the Cloudflare Privacy Policy. An email inquiry is processed to answer it and retained as needed for the inquiry.

Security and changes

Credentials are protected locally using Windows user encryption; this does not replace protection of the Windows account, backups or device. The operator can update this policy as the application changes. The date above identifies this version.
